Fish burgers

Whitefish (Hake, cod, sole, sea bass…) provides excellent protein, lots of vitamins and minerals (iron, calcium, iodine…) and nearly no fat, so it has very few calories.

What a wonder!

Moreover it’s very easy to digest, that’s why it’s a good option to eat it at dinnertime.

So today: Fish burgers.

For 3 persons:

400 gr. of whitefish (it can be frozen)

2 egg whites

1 crushed garlic clove

fresh parsley minced

salt, pepper


Dry the fish with paper towels.

Put it in a mincer and chop it.

Put the chopped fish, egg whites, crushed garlic, parsley, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix it well with a fork.

Form the burgers and put them on a wax paper.

Leave them in the fridge to rest (at least ½ hour)

Pre-heat the oven at 200 degrees, and roast the burgers for 8 min.

If you want them to be a golden colour, you can grill them in a pan with a little olive oil.

Ready to eat!

I like to prepare them in advance and leave them in the fridge, or even freeze them. Like that, when I arrive at home I just put them in the oven and while they are cooking I prepare a good salad.

So in 10 min. we have a deliciously healthy dinner 🙂

Today I served them with roasted pumpkin. Mmmmhhhh I love it!
