Brownie

Yes, it is a brownie! I baked a healthy, sugar-free, fat-free & gluten-free brownie.

That is perfect, isn’t it?

Moreover, nobody would guess that its principal ingredient is… chickpea flour!!

This means we will get all the benefits from the pulses (fibre, protein, iron…) while enjoying a piece of this marvellous moist cake  😉

For a square mould (20x20cm.)

2 very ripe bananas

4 tablespoons chickpea flour (or oat flour)

2 tablespoons ground almonds

2 tablespoons cocoa (without sugar)

3 tablespoons milk (skimmed or vegetal milk…)

2 eggs

1 teaspoon baking powder

a handful of nuts

2 pieces of chocolate (85% cocoa, without sugar)

……..

Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.

Put in a bowl or blender: the bananas, flour, ground almonds, cocoa, milk, eggs and baking powder. Blend it till you get a creamy mixture.

Pour it into the mould, lined with wax paper.

Chop the chocolate and nuts and distribute them over the brownie mixture.

Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 min.

<The baking time depends on the size of your mould, if it’s smaller than mine the brownie will be higher so it will need some more minutes in the oven.

Anyway, it’s important that it’s not too long in the oven cause the brownie must have a creamy and moist texture, never too dry>

Once it’s done, take it out from the mould, cut it into square pieces and …

Ready to enjoy!

I strongly recommend you to eat it while it’s still warm, the pieces of chocolate are melt and… I can’t tell you how delicious it is. You have to try it!
