Baked nectarines

I think my favourite way of cooking is “in the oven”.
I find it super easy and clean… moreover any food roasted or baked is a lot tastier, don’t you think?
Meat, fish, all types of vegetables… and also fruits. Everything into the oven
So these baked nectarines, very juicy and sweet, are our dessert today.

4 or 5 nectarines
juice of 1 orange
fresh rosemary

Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees.
Cut the nectarines in half and take out the stone.
Put them in an oven tray with the stone part upside.
Pour the orange juice over the nectarines.
Add the rosemary leaves to the bottom of the tray.
Bake it for 20 min. at 180 degrees.

When you take them out from the oven, immediately turn them up side down and leave them to rest for a couple of hours –the nectarines will soak up the juice from the bottom of the tray.

Ready to eat!

You can serve them with yogurt, or quark, or a scoop of ice cream…
